Daryl R. Berry, Owner, Funeral Director and Embalmer

The son of Vernon and Anita Berry, Daryl grew up in Lebanon where the family moved while he was in the first grade. Upon graduation from Marion County High, he attended Eastern Kentucky University where he earned an Associates Degree in Horticulture. While away at college, his parents moved to Campbellsville but he spent summers and many weekends staying with his grandparents in Greensburg where he worked part-time at a florist. His many deliveries to the area funeral homes sparked an interest in funeral service to which he would later return.
He married a Green County girl, Sharon Lobb in 1976 and they settled in Campbellsville where they bought their first home.
Daryl has been in Funeral Service since 1982 when he left Campbellsville to begin serving an apprenticeship in Louisville. Licensed in 1985 as a Funeral Director and Embalmer, he has served in funeral homes in Shepherdsville, LaGrange, Owensboro, Tompkinsville and Lexington. This varied experience will serve him well as he puts all he has learned into practice in the operation of Lyon-DeWitt-Berry Funeral Home.
Besides enjoying being Dad to his two daughters and their husbands, he loves being entertained by their five grandchildren.
