What's being said about Mom.

My memory of my mom is how unselfish she was! She loved her kids and grandkids and loved to have company!! She raised five Kids by herself and didn't complain! She could cook the best fried chicken and Chocolate Pie! She went to be with the Lord on January 7th of 2017 and I miss her terribly!!She was a great and strong Lady!!

My mother was a kind Christian woman. She was an amazing cook. My favorite memories revolve around all the wonderful holiday meals with the whole family. She had a great sense of humor. A mother of 6, she taught us morals, she showed us by example how to be Christians, good neighbors, and how to care about other people.

My Mom loved cooking and Doing Ceramics, My Mom was the Best, I remember her sitting by the stove on winter Nights Quilting with that big old frame, and she was always Sewing and making her own Clothes, She was the Best Grandmother and Mother, She loved Traveling and Eating out, especially during Her Illness, Loved her so very much and Miss her Dearly...

Carolyn Taylor aka Momma Moochie Momma just passed away today but she will forever be etched in my heart and many others that called her " momma". She was a great soul that cared about everyone in need or troubles all way to her deathbed. She worried about everyone else.. Gonna miss her daily phone calls and my visits with her and all her advice ..Momma Moochie you was Momma to so many❤️

My favorite memory is when Momma would be so strong for us girls no matter how painful I know things were for her as a single mother of 3 girls, swimming lessons, going to the state fair every year, going to the park, library, making our Halloween costumes, helping with homework, teaching us girls to be respectful and how to be young woman so we could take care of ourselves and our family... She was our rock if I could be half the woman she was I know she is proud of how far I've come...

My mother always put the needs of others first. She was very dedicated to the care of her parents and her grandchildren.

My favorite memory of my mother. So many. I guess it would be on the holidays. She would start cooking the day before. She would wear herself out to make sure we would have the best day. Why she was the best. She lived her life for her children and grandbabies. She worked hard. She loved her Lord. She was not only my mother she was my best friend. I miss her so much.

Best cook, she always wanted to have family together and wanted to cook everything. She was the best because she worried about her family.

No matter how many times I had already talked to my Mom on a particular day, each time I called she responded like she was so excited to hear from me. Some days we talked multiple times but I always got the same excited response. Mother has passed away and I miss her terribly.

I realize we are from Greensburg but I still had to share. My mother is the best for me like your mother is best for you. We have commentaries with our own mothers that no one else can have. A couple of years ago I was having a hard time with a situation that made me very angry, I called my mother to talk to her about it. By the time I called my mother I mean I was fuming, her advice to me was, "Let God handle this situation because we wouldn't handle it fairly like he would." This is just one reason why my mother is #1 to me, she can give some great advice in the heat of the moment.

My mother is a Beautiful, strong, hard working, kind hearted Christian women, who worked her way through life with no harmful words toward a soul, she has helped so many times that I can re-call in my 53 yrs of life from giving a place to sleep, food in their bellies, money to pay bills or a ride to church. My mom always puts others needs or even wants before her own. I can remember as a child the tornado in 1974 her taking in an elderly couple who lost everything, and caring for them until other arrangements were made, my mom worked 2 jobs after my father passed in 1973 to provided for my brother and I. In my mothers 83 years she has lost her Mother, Father, a Brother, 2 Sisters, 2 spouses and her only and first born child/son. My moms physical and spiritual strength keeps her going even after retirement she is willing to lend a hand of support, give you a ride to the doctor, church or were you need to go. If your sick she will visit you in the hospital and when you go home take you a dish.. Only the best Mother understands such unselfishness and wants nothing in return except making you feel better and putting a smile on your face. My mom has done so much for me, more than anyone in this world.. I cherish her for all the things she has taught me from canning, making apple jelly to being kind to others and all the memories we've made.. My mom is a great inspiration to my children and shows love to all. I have the best mom, and only pray that when I die, people can say " She was just like her mom". If you don't know my mother or ever had the pleasure of meeting her, you have missed a beautiful soul.

Mom is in heaven. You all held her funeral service. I remember the picture we gave you, you all made me and sister one. You all enlarged it and just made the picture beautiful. I have it hanging in my hallway. I look at often and think about what a free spirited loving mother I had. Now Heaven has her and I know that someday I will see her again. Thank to you all I have a gift to remember her by always.

All my memories of my Momma are wonderful, best Mom in the world! She's the best because she had to raise all six of us kids and my Daddy! Where would we be without her?!!!
